Perpustakaan SMKN 1 Trenggalek sejak tahun 2017 telah bekerjasama dengan Penerbit Sembilan mutiara publishing menggelar pelatihan diklat cerpen dan puisi setiap tahunnya dan diadakan di SMKN 1 Trenggalek. Peserta pelatihan sendiri berasal dari siswa – siswi SMKN 1 Trenggalek, dengan antusias mereka mengikuti kegiatan ini. Harapan diadakannya pelatihan ini adalah untuk mendukung gerakan pembudayaan minat budaya baca, serta menambah kemampuan menulis pada peserta kegiatan serta juga diharapkan memberikan semangat literasi bagi kaum milenial.
