Selasa, 19 November 2019 SMKN 1 Trenggalek mengikuti kegitan bersih-bersih Sungai dan Pantai di Prigi Watulimo Trenggalek acara tersebut diadakan oleh Dinas Perumahan, Kawasan Permukiman dan Lingkungan Hidup.
Acara tersebut diikuti oleh lebih dari 1.000 warga Trenggalek dari berbagai organisasi salah satunya SMKN 1 Trenggalek melakukan aksi bersih-bersih. Ada enam titik pantai di kawasan pesisir selatan yang dibersihkan. Enam titik yang menjadi sasaran pembersihan adalah Pantai Prigi, Pantai Cengkrong, Pantai Pasir Putih, dan Pantai Mutiara, kawasan pelabuhan hingga Pantai Damas. Pembersihan kali ini dilakukan secara masif dengan menggerakkan seribu lebih warga dari berbagai organisasi, mulai pelajar, instansi pemerintah hingga kelompok pecinta alam.
Dengan pembersihan sampah di pesisir ini diharapkan bisa menjadikan kawasan wisata Trenggalek semakin cantik dan nyaman untuk dikunjungi. Selain itu, kegiatan sosial itu juga sekaligus untuk menumbuhkan kecintaan masyarakat terhadap kebersihan lingkungan.
