Cara yang diberikan agar siswa mengenal banyak keanekaragaman hayati yang ada di lingkungan SMKN 1 Trenggalek adalah dengan memberikan nama Indonesia sekaligus nama latin pada setiap tanaman yang ada di sekolah. Dan pemberian nama itu dengan cara di tuliskan pada limbah kayu atau seng atau limbah lainnya yang ada di sekitar lingkungan sekolah .
